POETRY

A maximum of 6 poems per writer. Submissions are open to any form and theme, but work in the Ekphrastic genre or which combines text and image or engages in some way with the visual arts is of particular interest.

FLASH FICTION

4 pieces per writer, each 700 words or less.

PHOTOGRAPHY/ARTWORK/ILLUSTRATION

6 pieces per submission, open to any medium or subject. One submission is chosen as the cover image for each issue.

Long Exposure is seeking artists and photographers to regularly respond to the writing published in the magazine. If you would like to be added to the list of contributors then contact editor@longexposuremagazine.com with a short introduction and a selection of work or links to a portfolio. You can see the type of work we have published in previous issues here.

COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS

To date, the magazine has featured work from collaborative projects between photographers, poets, visual artists and others, as well as work by individuals across a variety of forms, and we are always keen to engage with whatever possibilities are being explored in this field.

REVIEWS

Contact the editor if you would like to submit a poetry collection for review, published in the last year.

ESSAYS/ARTICLES

Long Exposure is open to proposals for articles and essays, particularly on the relationship between creative writing and the visual arts, contemporary poetry and poetics, and the arts in society. Please submit a brief synopsis to discuss with the editor.

We look forward to reading and viewing your work.
